Many thanks, I'll get it printed and posted today.
  • I've had much the same situation with one tyre barely over the white line into the space adjacent in a free car park and being 'fined' £100 (I know it's not a fine!). I've written a similar appeal as above so it'll be interesting to see the result.

I'm also interested in the aspect of 'Not Parked Wholly Within Bay' contravention as the signs merely state 'Park only within marked bays'. Noting the plural 'Bays', this could read that you can park in more than one bay as long as they're marked? I've searched but not found recent examples of whether this argument holds water.

The 'offence' occurred about a week and a half ago, I returned to the car park today to find the signs have been taken down. Luckily I took pictures a week ago so have some evidence. Glad I did!

Is this Premier Park or Premier Parking? Two different operator names shown in the thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Just double checked, mine is Premier Park Ltd. It was in a free car park in England with a NtK.

OK but this isn't your original thread, it's petek1st's thread for him to see through to the end here. If you want individual help like him, then start your own thread but TBH it's not needed, this is how new posters with no previous thread, have been reporting winning at POPLA purely by following the advice in the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top:

I suspect the OP's PPC is the same as yours but in his letter he's called them 'Premier Parking'.

  • Apologies, I thought you were asking both of us. There was no intention to hijack the thread. At this point I've no need for help as the stickies have done their job thanks.
  • yes though this is a different case. It was not a "free" car park. Circumstances a little different.
