  • Judi ......All of the radiographers at our breast clinic are women, so rest easy.

Spent a bit more than I really wanted to today, but a lot was foody type bits from B&M. Is it me or are their prices getting on a par with the supermarkups :(

DD couldn't find a swimming cossie that she liked so we will keep looking. DH got two pairs of swimming shorts for £12 from Sports Direct.
Was naughty in T.Max and got myself three more cookbooks DH just raises his eyebrows these days.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Dinner tonight is HM cheese pie, chips and beans.

    BFN x

    Evening all,

Have had a busy day, my bottom has only just touched a chair!
JackieO I think you are a wonderful mum and grandma and your family are very lucky to have you:A
snoozer my son has his own window cleaning round and uses pure water, no soap and no rinsing, and he also does the frames. He does a wonderful job and is doing really well, my windows have never been so clean, he has a full round and is steadily building up a second I'm very proud of him, sadly we are in Manchester but I'm sure this type of cleaning is becoming popular everywhere.

I had to go to the dentist this morning, my wisdom tooth was aching like mad. They think it's rubbing against the bottom one so have shaved a bit of, also had a scale and polish and a first try of my bridge which looked fab, go for my final fitting next Friday.
Bought a Christmas present in the sale in TK Maxx for my box and picked my DGS and DD up from school
I'm shattered so dh is cooking me a healthy tea:D then we shall snuggle up and watch Gardeners world, our favourite time of the week.
Ooh almost forgot LW so glad you've got a doggy companion at the moment x

Ok off for my salad and jacket potato, have a good evening all x

You'll be just about going for your mammogram right now Judi. Hope it's ok xxxx
Thanks. I'm back now. I went hoping for a cheap thrill and I have come back with sore breasts. If they didn't sag before they will now. Ouch it hurt! Stuffed and wedged between 2 plates of glass. Thank goodness I will only be having them every 3 years.

Which echos what they said at the breast clinic. Apparently they don't employ male mamographers (so much for a cheap thrill! :D).

Still I'm grateful the service is offered and I was very grateful for the Pet Shop Boys playing quietly in the background.

Quick tea tonight. Masses and masses of pancakes! I predict a night in front of the pc. Hubby has planned his evenings' television.... all action films. Wheres the fingers down the throat smiley? :D

    Have a good evening all,

believe me its well worth going I went in 2007 and I had no lumps, bumps puckers or pain yet it was found that I have invasive lobbular carcinoma.Within weeks I had a mastectomy which saved my life followed by chemo and radio therapy plus 5 years of Arimidex drug therapy.I am now awaiting my reconstruction next month and have had the all clear from this dreadful discease.Never, Ever, miss an appointment It wouldn't bother me if it was a woman ,man or a chimpanzee doing my mammogram I am just so glad to be alive and well and seeing my seven gorgeous grandchildren growing up.There were more than a few ladies in hospital with me who sadly haven't had that opportunity.Never let embarrasment kill you
