cheap quick divorce is there such a thing??

My partner has been seperated from his wife for 5 years now and since our son was born 6 weeks ago we are really keen to get married so we all share the same name, He signed the house over to her last year as didnt want to fight over it. Now just need to find cheapest and quickest way to get divorced any advice would be very much appreciated.:confused:

    You can get a "no-fault" divorce on the basis of separation for two years or more. So long as there are no children from that marriage everything should be easy, although not terribly quick. Your husband should visit his local County Court to pick up the forms. The Court staff can give basic information about legal procedures, and I have found them to be very helpful and well-informed.

    If both people are happy to divorce and there are no complications, the cheapest way is to get the forms direct from the Courts. You can either pick them up at your nearest Family Court office or they might be on the downloads section of the Court Services website.

    Fill them in and all it will cost you is the court fees, unless the person presenting the divorce is on certain benefits, then it is free.
