Changes in childcare allowance - confused

Can someone confirm I am correct in thinking this. I have checked the "will you be better off" bit on the home page/budget page but still confused
I am a single mum of 2. Currently I pay for childcare using vouchers from myself and vouchers from my ex husband. We are not together anymore so we are obviously not a couple or living together.
Would I be better off with the new system even though it potentially means missing out on ex's vouchers or can he keep getting the vouchers for use in childcare, or indeed claim for this new scheme himself?
