***urgent*** Need advice on store card debt.

Just got my court forms through this morning, they are claiming an extra £50 court fees and £40 solicitor fees.

total Claim £429.95

I sent a letter to burtons last week asking for a settlement on the full and final amount, then woke to get court papers this morning.

Rang the company to ask if i could just pay my debt but they said no would be the full thing.

Absolutely gutted, i dont know what to do, what will happen if i go to court?

Go to your local Citzens Advice bureau (In the phone book/Thompson local) and take any papers you have relating to this debt and ask for their help it is FREE so make sure you go the sooner the better.
They maybe able to contact the company and reduce the amount you have to pay or reduce the monthly/weekly amount you have to pay.
If you leave it and then get summoned to court it will look like you have been lazy and not bothered about the debt,if you make the visit to CAB and take their advice and then go to court saying you are willing to pay your debt but at a reduced monthly/weekly amount the Magistrate's will be more understanding.
Go to CAB first thing in the morning .

You have to sort this out now before they start adding lots of interest on to the amount you owe.

Im going to pay it all, i was hoping to get out of debt faster but hey id rather get it cleared then go to court, guess the other smaller debts will wait.

Im claiming back late payment charges now as well from them so i will be able to get some money back in a few months of them..
