  • New Club Lloyds acct details all correct as stated in the thread so far. But 2 active direct debits activates the interest - the £1500 paid in just stops the £5 charge.
Accts limited to one joint and one sole per customer.

Mortgage discount is 0.2% off current rate.

And accounts come with one additional benefit per year chosen from a selection of three-
    6 Vue cinema tickets or
    Gourmet society membership or
Magazine subscription for a year (selected ones but don't know which)

Also paid for accts are coming back to lloyds branches too - silver and platinum.

    :)
  • I don't suppose Nuts will be one of the magazine choices.

Magazine subscription for a year (selected ones but don't know which)

Choose a magazine subscription as your benefit and you can pick one of these 14 titles to be delivered to your door or available for download to your Apple device.

Will be interesting to see whether the magazine subs will automatically continue as chargeable subs at the end of the year unless you actively cancel. Assuming you have to cancel, how easy will it be to cancel, who do you cancel with etc.

    That will indeed be interesting.

Raising the magnification on the screen print I took when this site was briefly up by mistake, I now see that in small type at the bottom it says, "Digital subscriptions are only available on Apple devices". Sounds like they're trying to make it an exclusive Club.

    I don't think anyone's posted their website yet: https://www.clublloyds.com/

Account details still not available officially

They posted it by mistake when they were building the site. I came across it on 6 March and they took the site down shortly afterwards - presumably to be resurrected in a couple of days or so.

I wonder if Bank of Scotland will have an equivalent? Club Bank of Scotland doesn't exactly roll off the tongue...

I've been wondering about that too. There's been several posts about Lloyds and TSB plans, but I've not seen anything posted here about what the BoS plans are. Anyone north of the border found out anything from a friendly bank manager yet?

Not sure if I can face another swathe of current accounts :(

Still, for 5% I'm sure I can spare another couple of minutes for the monthly £500/£1000/£1500 shuffle :p
