A quick simple budget explanation:
If you are poor it is your own fault and you will get poorer.
If you are rich, well done for working hard, you will get richer.
If you are old you are more likely to vote, so feel free to spend all your pension pot at once, even on a Lamborghini.
It is called looking after your own, combined with a little bribery.
