I really don't understand people

Please don't read link if easily offended.

I really don't understand why people can do these things. She is a solicitor, with a bit of intelligence so can't be put down to low intelligence or nedish behavior.

Why in god's name do these people just not hand their dog into the cat n dog home or have it euthanized. To deliberately lock the doors is beyond human.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I haven't read the full story as I know it will upset me too much.

As you say, she must have some intelligence to be a solicitor. How on earth someone can knowingly treat an animal like that is beyond me.

I do hope she goes to prison. I don't think the Courts take animal abuse anywhere seriously enough in most instances

That poor, poor dog. It's beyond cruelty.
I can only hope that the rest of her miserable life treats her progressively worse every single day.
I hope she gets to a point where she wishes she was dead but was unable to die.
I hope she suffers like she made that lovely dog suffer. :(
  • I stupidly read the article in the daily mail app yesterday and they had 'helpfully' shown pictures.

I despair of the human race at times, I just can't wrap my head around it at all.

As the op says, she was a solicitor so she isn't in any way unintelligent, what did she think was going to happen after she left the poor wee pet?

God...what a stupid selfish nasty piece of sh*t she is.

I only wish the authorities had the power to do the same to her - lock her in a room without food and water to let her slowly starve to death.

    Beyond belief.

Hope you're ok, harrys nan. Sending you hugs.
  • Oh Harry's Nan, how awful for you and your dog. If you are anything like me, these type of stories must make you spit when you adore your dog and yet people like that cretin woman couldn't give two stuffs. The world is never fair.

I don't know if it made the English news or not (it was in Northern Ireland) but basically, a family from hell consisting of a father and his charming sons had lurchers and had been stealing cats from the surrounding area and basically 'blooding' the dogs and filming it and you could hear their cackles and cheers in the background. When arrested, they had a litter of staffie pups at around 5 wks with no mother present and various paraphernalia for catching cats and other hunting stuff I think.

The sentence the whole shower of them recieved was laughable and there are still dogs in situ as I think their mother had a toy breed. The footage of them coming out of court, dressed like chavs laughing and jeering at the cameras was revolting and it has caused a bit of a stink - quite rightly so. The best of it is, they lived in a built up council estate so people must have known something fishy was going on with different breeds of dogs and pups all over the place.

I don't know what it will take to stop animals ending up in the hands of monsters unfortunately.

I hope a really vicious aggressive animal right activist is eagerly awaiting her arrival in the prison that she is sent to.
