    Morning all,

it looks like the start of a sunny day is upon us. Its cold though I thought as I went and retrieved my wheelie bin from the front of the house. The less said about that the better though cause I'm really miffed at the fact ive got 2 bin liners of recyclables that are stuck around me for another week. When I want to get rid of my rubbish I want to get rid of it all, not in bits and drabs.

Council tax came yesterday, its gone up £2 a month. I think hubby can stomach that increase. Talking about hubby, he went to the hospital last night about his knee. I usually go with him when he attends the stroke clinic or the kidney clinic but as it was for his knee he went on his own. Not only is the hospital only 2 minutes from our home, he was seen to, scanned and everything and back for 9 with a prognosis. You don't get that in a NHS hospital! There was a better 'class' of magazines too apparently.:D Shouldn't laugh really as I'm not comfortable with the idea of NHS and Private hospitals.... I can justify it this time though as he was referred by the NHS.

Usual household chores today but in no rush to start. I was going to do a cottage pie for tea but forgot to get the meat out so it'll have to be gammon I think.

Onwards and forwards! Have a great day all,

    Morning all,

Lovely and sunny here today but very windy. Not been in the mood for sorting the washing, so hey ho, I've missed a fab drying day.

JackieO - So glad you got what you wanted from the consultant. On a lighter note, if you need some donor stuff via liposuction, I'm willing :)

I've been to Asda this morning to design and order a photo cake for DD to take to their engagement do on Saturday. Hopefully I can collect it tomorrow afternoon. Never done it before but it was very straight forward and quite good fun.

Chicken for tea tonight, will probably do curry.

Have a good day all :)

    Afternoon all,

I've been busy this morning, I rejoined Ww as I can now get there under my own steam. I enjoyed it, and I'm going to get to goal before I go to Australia in November, watch this space. The exercising part is difficult but I'm using my step machine very day.
I slept so much better last night, long may it continue.
It's so cold here, I called at the local market whilst I was out and picked up some birthday cards, omg it was freezing, I was back to my big coat, wooly hat and scarf:eek:
Just waiting for dh to come home for lunch. And a quick tea as the boys are at football .
Lovely day with mum and dad yesterday, I do wish they lived a bit nearer.
Anyway onwards and upwards, have. Good day x

    Hello all.

I did post on this morning but my post isn't here.

Anyway today I have had cake overdose. Met up with my sister. We don't get out much (7 kids between us) so we had breakfast. Which was free as we didn't eat it cos it was cold & the bacon was flabby. We mooched around southend. I got a nice top in the sale in Monsoon. I also bought a beautiful oven tray from tacky maxx. No one is allowed to use it though. :rotfl:

We went for cake in a posh cake shop. Greedy cows that we are, our eyes were bigger than our bellies. We had 2 each. WE only had a bit of each cos they were really sickly. I feel ill. :o

Great news for you Jackie xxxx

Looked at bank account this morning. More money than I expected. Ds2 has been awarded his DLA. I'm sad about it in a way. I know I sound silly. But I didn't have to fight them at all. They straight away awarded middle rate DLA. I expected the lower rate if anything. I didn't lie on the form, I didn't exaggerate or anything. My poor boy.

Ok, I am off to regret eating cake.

    Love, (((hugs))) & spoons xxxx

It will help greatly with things he needs.
Noah has been getting high rate care since 3 and low rate mobility was added at 5.
Not much else to say as I feel barely alive thanks to about 3 hours sleep in total all week... Teething troubles and Noah's anxiety😞

    Still we keep !!!!!!ing on😜

Have made bacon and tomato sauce for later and some ginger biscuits.

I'm obsessed with sciracha at the mo and making my own at weekend as I'm going through loads😍

Hugs to all who are ill or black dog bound

Molly - I don't know if this will be of any help, as I've not tried it, but have you tried something like this? http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0043QPL4...I3T0HHKV1P3WC7

So, today our BG refund hit my account and I've ordered our wedding shoes :-) £116 for mine and OH's pairs of personalised converse. I am so excited for them to arrive. A lot to spend on shoes, but worth it.

Out tonight to meet with a friend, dinner will be prawn stir fry, not much housework to be done tonight, will blitz the kitchen whilst dinner is cooking... I'm aiming for a 2lb loss this week, so driving to the pub so I can't drink!

Hope everyone is okay, love and hugs to you all x

Don't really have much to add here today. Have been missing for a bit, sorry, no real reason for that. Laziness I guess and if I'm at home, don't tend to go on the internet.

No idea what my mum is cooking for my girls tonight, but I have tried to do my mealplan up until I don't have to cook again which is usually Tuesdays, but I've just remembered I'm not working next Tuesday, darn.

Friday - beans and hotdogs on toast (quick meal as eldest is going to Rainbows)

Saturday - toad in the hole

Sunday - turnkey round, roasties, veg

Monday - pulled pork (if I can find a small enough joint)

Tuesday - no idea, haven't thought that far ahead.

Have thought of a few things I would like to try girls with, just have to find recipes. Prawns, gammon and gnocchi.

Going to a pub with a load of cousins on Saturday and then to a play area on Sunday with the girls. Probably all going to cost a fortune, but I've decided to try and not stress about money so much. I used to dread the weekends as I didn't want to bug people, so I can hardly moan when I actually have stuff to do, right?!

Only other thing of note is that near my area (well, more near my mums), a load of dogs have been poisoned while out walking, so making sure I don't go there with my mutt!

    Afternoon all,

Very wet here today, although seems to have stopped now, dogs not convinced, they are now refusing to go out except for the necessary length of time....currently they are having a battle on the couch, hopefully they will tire themselves out soon....wouldnt mind so much if they werent getting tangled up in my crochet wool.

At long last I am beginning to recover from the black dog and pain of the last few weeks , its strange to feel almost normal again, but good.

Dinner tonight will be roast pork, not sure what else, as OH is still chief cook and bottle washer. Would love a baked apple with some custard but as I would not be allowed to make it and oh makes miserable custard I will do without.

Hugs to all in need or want of one, have a nice day

Molly I hope all goes well on the 6th (((Hugs)))

I have finally heard from the hospital, and the left side carpal tunnel is being done on the 24th April :j But it is still stabbing in the dark because they think most of the problems with my hands is related to the spinal problem :(
Even though it is done under local I have to take my dressing gown and slippers with me.
Got to be at the hospital at 7.30 am
At least I have a date now, only been on the waiting list since the beginning of November :( Well things do come in threes :p

Main shop this morning and we bought another water barrel, because one of ours is a bit battered and now has a hole in the side. It was good value a 200L one with stand, connector and tap for £28.99 in Aldi :D

DH wants to go to Bletchley tomorrow to get some more swimming shorts and DD wants a new cossie, while they are doing that I will "wait" in TKMaximus;)

Lovely to see you Marie and glad that you are on the mend x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

    Evening all!
Late on for me, had a busy day and whilst sat on the sofa just grabbed 5 to nip on. jackieo fab news!!!
Food shopping this morning at 8am as Aldi opened, I think everyone had the same idea this week as was quite busy. Stopped more or less at my budget (went over £3) but I did buy bulk of a deal so all ok. Lots of paperwork done today and we had stew for tea.
Hoping weather is better tomorrow as was very windy and kept raining.
Time to get a cup of tea and relax with OH.
    Happy Thursday Evening :j
