jobcenter travel discount - does it exist?

Hello,

I know someone that got a job centre travel discount card issued for 3 months however I asked my advicer if I could get this but she said no such scheme existed.

I don't believe that this scheme will apply to some jobcenters and not others.

Does this scheme exist? I can't find anything on the gov website about it but the bus and train company's certainly know about it.

Can anyone help?
