NCP - newcastle

Hello

I have looked at the newbies thread but found it confusing so I hope you don't mind me asking about my fine.

It is from an ncp car park in newcastle - reason for fine - parked in a permit bay without permit. I checked the other cars for tickets/permits couldn't see anything on them so thought I would be fine as it was late at night.

Looking at other threads I don't have to pay this like with a council ticket - is that right?

Sorry if this is already somewhere I just needed help understanding my FPN

Thank you

You don't have to pay it, but there are processes that need to be followed. First of all, has the notice arrived through the post or was it attached to your vehicle?

If this was a windscreen ticket - then wait until the Notice to keeper arrives.

If this is postal - then please use the initial appeal template in the NEWBIE thread above. I have seen several weird NCP signage lately which do purport to be contractual....(you could upload a photo here if you can get one)

In either case you can start researching some POPLA appeals.

    Hello

It was a windscreen ticket. I wasn't actually in the car park through the barrier. There is about ten spaces outside the entrance to the car park on a concreted area. I will try and get a photo.

I did look for a sign but couldn't see any.

    Thanks for your help

    As above then.
