PPI sold to non UK citizen

Options
I have a couple of credit cards which I took out when I first arrived in UK nearly 13 years ago. At that time I was on a work permit.

I have been trying to find out if the PPI policy that was given to me with my credit card would have paid out if I had made a claim considering I was not a UK citizen at that time.

Does anyone know if I can make a complaint against my PPI policies being mis-sold to me as I was not a UK citizen?

It isnt an issue of not being a UK citizen, it will be the work permit and not being eligible for benefits in the UK. You certainly wouldn't be able to go down the job centre for JSA and claim on the unemployment part of the policy. So thats about as mis-sold as it gets.
  • Its a miss sold on grounds of residency .as roonaldo explained how you will not benefit from it.
