I need some plastic sheeting that will stop weeds coming through the soil as I want to put bark down. Any recommendations ?

I got some from B&M and put it down double but i'm still getting weeds coming through, so i'd tick that one off your list.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I would go with the geotextile stuff instead of plastic.
The stuff they use under ponds is brilliant, and lets water through as well.
You can cut it with a stanley knife if you wish to plant something underneath.0 -

also called permatex. (will probably see it labeled as ground control in garden centres)
Its a woven plastic type, generally it has squares marked onto it to help us space plants out in our greenhouses. It is good for 8-10 years.0
