Speeding Fine Photograph

I have recently received a speeding fine. When I have checked the photographic evidence the number plate is not readable. can I appeal for this reason.

    They read the plate by negativing the image.

    If its not readable then how did they know to send it to you?
    So it is readable.

    You don't have the only image and you don't necessarily have an enhanced image. You are extremely unlikely to win any case if you plead not guilty based on the photo you have been sent.

    You have no chance on a blurry / unclear picture defence.


    Depending on exactly how fast you were 'allegedly' driving, and assuming you live in, and the 'incident' occurred in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland, you may well be offered a Driver Awareness Course.


    No courses in Scotland though.
