Possibly dodgy window cleaner - advice please!

Simple point though, how can they force you pay? they have no proof to say that you asked for your windows to be washed...0

How about something written such as
THIS AGREEMENT is made the ________ day of _________________ year ______
BETWEEN:
(1) _________________ of _________________ (the ‘First Party’);and
(2) _________________ of _________________ (the ‘Second Party’).
NOW IT IS HEREBY AGREED as follows:
1. That in consideration of the promises made herein by the Second Party the First Party hereby promises and agrees that it shall pay £ ? every six weeks.
2. That in consideration of the promises made herein by the First Party the Second Party hereby promises that it shall carry out the cleaning of all the exterior window surfaces at ( address ) to the satisfaction of the First Party once every six weeks.
3. In consideration of the aforementioned promises, the Parties hereto agree that the following term shall have effect :- this Agreement may be terminated by either Party giving two weeks notice in writing.
4. This agreement shall be binding upon the parties, their successors and assigns. This is the entire agreement.
IN WITNESS OF WHICH the parties have signed this agreement the day and year first above written.

I'd pay them this time and tell them not to come back. Life is too short for an argument over £15. It might be that the window cleaner has a round and slotted the OP into it for the first clean. The date of the second clean might be earlier because that's the day they do their street on the round.
Our window cleaner does half a dozen houses in our street and does them all on the same day.
