Innovate,
I know this is probably a stupid question, but I don't understand exactly who will benefit from the abolition of the 10% savings rate. Please could you put into very simplistic terms for me:o I don't think I personally will benefit.
Thanks.

OK, if it were only that (which it probably isn't)
Please explain how it isn't only that?
My point was the way it was reported on TV as the answer to pensioner's prayers when if it was explained with the actual figures is not really that. Nobody said it was not worthwhile, just not earth shattering hyperbole.0 -
Check back on what I already said.0

There are no facts in your previous answer there why it isn't the extra amount of money I quoted (approx), that's why I was interested what facts you have to back up that assertion.0

You've for it exactly the wrong way round. To let women of 62.5 do it when men of 62.5 can't would be sex discrimination.Free the dunston one next time too.0 -
It's been sexed up as a BIG change just so that the Cons will get the pensiopner vote.
So pensioners have been stuffed for so many years and now the meeja is making it look like the Cons are really good guys.
I wonder if pensioners will 'buy it'?/
I'm a pensioner and I won't even though the increase in ISA allowance suits me fine. It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0 -

The BIG change is the new 2015 rules on talking money out of DC pension pots, but as it doesn't help self serving MPs or Union chiefs on Gold plated defined benefit pensions I don't expect Labour to support it. For millions it's huge news.0
