Modern Tea Set help!

Hi,

For mothers day I'd like to get my wife a tea set, but I'm struggling to find anything modern as a set.

I'm thinking 4 or 6 mugs with a matching tea pot.

Any tips on where to look? All the usual places I can think of dont do anything as a set, or have what looks like quite small tea pots.

Any help appreciated!!

What about looking on Argos and buying separates to make up a tea set? Ceramic mugs, stainless tea pot, Habitat milk jug and sugar bowl. Then a packing box from Paper chase filled with coloured tissue and do it up with a ribbon.

Or if you live any where near Stoke on Trent, go and visit all the factory shops like Aynsley, Spode, Portmeirion , Wedgewood etc

Try Emma Bridgewater. The pottery is lovely and very hard wearing. Also British!

Most good crockery ranges have a teapot. So, you don't buy a "set" in a nice box, but you can get a teapot and cups or mugs. Nice thing is you could get matching plates in the future too if you wanted.

We have the China range by Denby which is lovely and modern. Clean and simple design so shouldn't go out of style and we shouldn't get fed up with it too quickly.
