EE are the biggest bunch of fools I have come across!!!

Talk about EE giving their customers added stress to daily life. Nothing but drama I have have from these bunch of fools.
Ordered the iPhone 5s early last week over the phone. Went through all the normal checks and information. When i was asked which colour i wanted i said 'the black one'', ''you mean the space grey colour'' the operator said. ''yes the black/darkest colour out of the 3 on offer'' i replied. Sorted. 1working day delivery was all i had to wait which cost me £5.90. Great :) The next day i get a text from the delivery company saying my item will be there between 10am and 2pm. Thats fine with me. Didn't turn up till 4.30pm. Annoying but at least my iPhone is here. I am very excited to open this bad boy up and have a play. Take the phone out of the delivery bag to reveal my glorious GOLD iPhone 5s? What? Gold? Now i remember between me and the operator stating BLACK/SPACE GREY 3 times. And they send me Gold. Ok ill bite my lip. So i ring them up saying you have sent the wrong colour and i want the black one. ''O sorry for the mistake sir, sometimes we send what ever we have most in stock''. What? So why ask me what colour i want in the first place?. (Thats like ordering a steak and chips at a restaurant but getting port chops and chips instead). Really biting my lower lip now. Ok so what do i have to do now? 'No problem sir, just take it to your local EE shop and they will swap it for you''. Again annoying but so long as they do it, then fine. The next day i take it the shop and guess what? I can't swap it. O GREAT. Spot on. Something to do with the shop can't re-sell it (Bare in mind i have not ripped any of the packaging off at all). So, I go home and ring again and explain what has happened up to this point. They are now going to send a bag for me to send the phone in back to them, Guess what? I have to pay for delivery. My wallet is getting light now due to the time of the month (pardon the pun) That's £7. I really love paying to resend items that are wrong. Its what i live for. So i send it back and 2 working days later i ring up and ask if they had received the item, ''No he says, we get a lot of returns and can take awhile to be scanned into our system, id ring back in a week''. A WEEK! No chance, I am going to ring twice a day everyday until they can confirm they have it and i can re-order. Im almost at boiling point here, I'm half the man i used to be before i met EE. Luckily the next day i ring and they confirm they have it. ''Great i want to re-order the phone please but Black this time''. '' yes sure, thats going to be £5.90 delivery''. AAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH Thats it, I have had it. I blow up, I tell the poor operator what has happened, I'm rapping into the phone like Eminem, I'm spitting feathers. Heart is pumping at 3times the normal rate. Angry is not the word to describe how I'm feeling. After my storm of words the operator is very apologetic and puts me on hold. A few minutes later he comes back and says that they will pay the delivery which is due this friday. I hope to god that its right this time. EE, NOT A GOOD START WITH YOU.

Someone somewhere is trying to tell you something.

One thing you can gaurantee with EE is that it will never get any better than this.
  • agreed, it wont get better, i ditched them last year after 2 years of incorrect bills and charges and bad customer service. not sure if youre aware but because you ordered the phone over the phone, under the distance selling regs you can cancel within 14 days and sent it back. I returned an ipad on orange after i realised they had sold me it on a rubbish contract in comparison to other networks. I took out my latest phone with phones 4u, very pleased with the service, OH also got a space grey iphone 5s for £37 a month, no upfront payment (after a bit of bargaining input from me) got it from the store the same day.

In all honesty I would send it back, cancel the contract and walk away, took them several months to get the bill right....
