That's a brilliant idea, but I'm wondering if the perfumes in that selection might be a bit more for younger women? Just a thought.

I did look at that and I also think that is a GREAT idea especially for a gift! BUT we don't have a store local to take voucher to get the full bottle and maybe what Koan said too.

I'm a bit out of touch with recent perfumes so not tried any of those, but maybe they are for someone a bit younger?

I suggest trying the oils from https://www.perfume-parlour.co.uk

They do 'smell-alikes' for loads of famous perfumes..They are exceptionally good and very cheap. Because it's an oil it lasts for ages on the skin but if you prefer a spray they have started to do those as well.

I love them, have bought them for all the women in the family and my best friend and haven't found anyone who dislikes them.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

The box I got was definitely a good mix. It depends what you mean by younger/older though. The only perfumes I would say are age-dependent are the incredibly sweet celebrity ones. Everything else depends entirely on the person IMO. I traded my voucher in at Superdrug as mine has a small Perfume Shop counter.

I would recommend Lovely by SJP, its perfect for a more mature lady, not your typical sickly sweet celeb scent and a great price too. Sunflowers is definitely an "old
lady" perfume. Any of the Ghost fragrances would be good if they are on offer.

I am definitely going to get her SJP lovely so just looking for some others with different types of smell to get her now.

I noticed amazon have a small bottle of Angel EDP for £30, which I thought was quite cheap. That perfume is usually really dear.

Maybe a bit late, but for future, have you tried Base Notez I currently have two favourites. Sunset (Samsara) and Double (D&G, the original Red).

Double is so long lasting, rich, excellent value. Sunset is superb. They have great deals on from time to time, and the money you can save is incredible.

Have been using the perfume oils for over 2 years and just keep going back.

All my posts are my opinion, and the actions I would take.

I'm reliably informed that Lidl's Suddenly Madame Glamour is lovely AND cheap! (not dissimilar to Coco Chanel's Madamemoiselle apparently). And 2 for £7 this weekend (29/30th March) :T

Thank you I have already bought her some now!

If anyone is interested...in the end I went for :)

    SJP - Lovely 30ml
Giorgio Beverley Hills - Wings 30 ml
Chantilly 60ml (which I had never heard of but recommended on another forum!)
Elizabeth Arden Fifth Avenue 10 ml

I got them from allbeauty.com great prices it was about £29 total for the 4.

I have the Lidl perfume myself! I bet they sell loads of it now! ;)
