A&L PPI claim help

Options
Can anyone please help....

My claim was rejected by A&L for mis-sold PPI as they said I was under no obligation to buy it. As far as I remember I felt really under pressure to take it out. The letter states that the complaint will be closed within 8 weeks if they have had not contact with me.

I still believe I was mis-sold is it too late to pursue this again?

I started the loan in March 2007 and wrote to them in November 2007.

Thanks

It sounds like your case was closed under the old two stage complaint processs and they never started the six month period for you to go to FOS so in theory you could - although that does not mean your complaint will necessarily be upheld.
  • Do you have any idea how or where do I start to have them look at this complaint again?

Write to them again and say that in the light of media coverage you realise their initial response is unsatisfactory and you want them to reconsider or issue a final response so you can take them to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
  • Thanks very much for your help I'm gonna get a letter sent today.
