Hi folks, I have a Nokia Lumia 520 and am trying desperately to sync the calendar with my Microsoft Outlook calendar so that I have it with me at al times.
I'm finding it really confusing and no amount of digging or research is coming up with the solution.
I have three BTinternet.com email addresses linked to my MS Outlook as is my new live.com email address. These are all set up as POP3 accounts. I want just one Inbox for all my email, just one calendar for all my appointments and I want to be able to access it all on my phone.
Can anyone offer any advice please?
ps before anyone asks yes I have the Outlook Connector installed. And I have access to my Outlook.com email and calendar. It is all very confusing!!!

I assume you have enabled your Outlook calendar in calendar settings? Are your existing appointments showing up, and just new ones are not syncing with your Outlook calendar on your PC?
I also have a Lumia 520 and I have to say I didn't get on with the standard calendar so I installed Chronos - so much better.0 -
Any of these help?

I only use one MS account for all my email and I don't use the 'stand alone' Outlook app (only use webmail). So can't help beyond posting links.

I have this working so I should be able to help you. The trick is to understand that your MASTER calendar has to be one hosted in your Outlook.com account (AKA live.com). You have to stop using the local calendar in Outlook on your PC.
Here's a link to help you
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2459660
Here's my description
You have got Outlook Connector so you can see your live.com account in the list. You have to copy your local Outlook Calendar to that account. You do this by right click "Calendar -Personal Folders" then click "Copy Calendar". Then I think you select the root of the live.com account, right-click and Paste.
This will create a new Calendar in your live.com account, but astonishingly, when you log on through the web interface Outlook.com, it is completely hidden. Believe me I tried zillions of time to find it.
In Outlook when you choose Calendars, the new one appears in the list. Best thing to do is clear the tick box for the Personal Folders calendar, and forget about it. However I found that I was getting double reminders in Outlook, so eventually when I was sure it was working I cleared the local Outlook Calendar.
Another curious thing was that the new calendar in Outlook.com started generating e-mails in my inbox to as reminders for appointments. Eventually I figured out how to turn that off.
Now I have my Outlook.com calendar synchronised with Outlook 2010 on my PC and with my Lumia Windows 7 phone. Synchronisation seems to work well, using 3G connection or wireless if I'm in range of a valid network.0
