Switch one fuel away from a dual fuel only tariff

Hi, I currently have a dual fuel only tariff with Spark Energy (Advance 2), what will happen if I switch my gas to another supplier? Will Spark Energy move my electricity to a single fuel tariff which is usually more expensive?

If it is listed explicitly as a dual fuel tariff then, yes, they will be entitled to change you to a different one. The Advance tariffs are listed as such so it is a strong possibility (although not definite.)

Have a look on a comparison site and see how their electricity-only tariffs would compare (and what price other suppliers' tariffs would be.)

Thanks for the replies. The dual fuel only tariff will end in about 9 months. Spark Energy electricity only tariff isn't good, I guess I'll have to switch electricity to another supplier.
