Would you buy a used car without a mechanical inspection or warranty?

No, it's just adding extra time to a slow process. They've also said its worth 2% less than we've offered so need to re-negotiate with the vendors. This could be a stressful week!
  • I've only ever had mortgages with Skipton and in my 11 year experience with them they've been first class - swift decisions, great products, always courteous service, I always get straight through to them when I call. Perhaps I've just been lucky!

They are also the only lender I've encountered (having checked out loads over the years) who allow you to OP 10% of your original loan per year, rather than a percentage of the remaining balance. I stand corrected if there are other lenders who do this, but I've never been able to find them!
Life is changing...but I'm still Money Saving!
