I have my 20 or so people who I read and converse with the rest I geuss im just a like stalker, Sometimes I'll comment depends if its relevant and something I can answer/talk about

well i have just followed another 150 people so we will see how many people follow me back and do any liking or commenting thought at the moment my money is coming from views

The followers and the following... are different. If you follow 80 you can have 1500 people following you. I do. I don't want to follow people who's posts don't interest me at least on some level.

For a start most of the people replying in this thread aren't 'lads' they are people, mostly women. People who are taking time to reply to you with their genuine opinions.

No-one is pretending anything from what I can see. I've seen plenty of honest opinions here from people that I know and trust to speak to the truth on this forum. I personally read the posts that I click like on and comment on them. This is why I have a small amount of people I follow, just 600 or so. I don't want to spend my time reading barely legible posts that talk about topics I'm not interesting in. I'm not going to just read the title and write some drivel that will likely turn out to be irrelevant. I wouldn't insult the poster, usually someone I know through MSE or other websites, by pretending I had read their post and then writing down loads of crap. Most of the people I read, who kindly reciprocate too I must add, post interesting posts and comments that I genuinely enjoy reading.

You comment here is what is laughable, also, if newspaper are available so are manners - I suggest you get some. To ask someone's opinion and then belittle them when they reply is just rude. MSE is, for the most part, full of people that don't put on a facade and will be honest and genuine about what they are doing to make money, save money or invest money. You would do well not to be so cynical as to assume everyone is interested in just pretending they're reading a post in order to try and make more money. Of course most people that sign up have done so for the money but I know personally that I could make almost as much posting and running, but I don't do it.

I've not seen anyone here say that they read every single post of every single person they follow.

Most decent people read. It is always blatantly obvious from the comments the ones who don't. I don't even bother reading their posts, I just ignore them completely.

The only thing I hate about this website is the illegible posts. Clicked on one with a really interesting (and miraculously grammatically correct) title, only to be met by a huge copy-paste translator job. Couldn't even understand it

But I find following people is the quickest way to get the to follow me back I will certainly be unfollowing some of them over the next few days.

edit : it seems you now cant just follow lots of people - its come up that i have hit maximum connections for the day

I am up to $9.60 and 200 ish followers.

I went to the username thread and added everyone that hasn't been banned/was a bit of a spammer so now following 75 or so people.

I've been commenting as and when I can throughout the day, hopefully will start to progress now
