Hey all! Newbie here. Hope ur good.
Quick Q if anyone has any advice -
I'm on the Blue + Price Promise May 2014 for (Dual Fuel) with EDF.
Obviously it's about to run out, (shoulda mebbe taken the previous 2015 offer, oh well) and I gotta think about this again.
I've looked on the main question form on the main site, and it's given me some advice. But I just wanted to see if anyone here has any opinions.
1) Should I just switch now to the EDF May 2015 plan NOW? Rather than wait and risk losing the chance to do so at the end of my contract?
2) Should I go for the EDF 2017 Price freeze?
3) Or change provider altogether?
I live in a 2 bedroom ground floor flat on Camden Road, Islington, London.
As I said before - Just here to see if anyone has any opinions. I've had a good time with EDF for quite a few years now, so I'm reluctant to move. Just wanted to see if you guys have info I don't.
Looking forward to hearing opinions!

If you go through the call centre you can ask them to post date the switch so it won't happen until the end of your contract.
As there is no cancellation fee for either product, there is no harm in doing this today. You need to ring up before the product you want goes off sale.0 -

If you think that the extra you will be charged is worth it .
Do you believe that energy prices will rise by more that that between now and 2017.
My costs current EDF 2014 price fix April .

EDF 2015 £1250
EDF 2017 £1320
OVO 2015 £1160
Costs based upon view my bill years usage .

If you switch from your current EDF tariff to the EDF tariff you want through the link supplied in the email they sent you informing you that your tariff is coming to an end they will keep you on your current tariff until it ends then move you to the new tariff.0
