    Halifax and Lloyds use the same online banking system. Both of those and Barclays need you to remember a customer number too (any reason you can't just tick the remember this number box?) and also a card reader (Barclays) which can be a pain. The phone apps are easy to use for each of them though and also Nationwide.

    I use my Nationwide account a lot and have done since they started it and never have to put in my customer number as I ticked the 'remember me' box. Anyway, I have a screen dump saved in a file just in case I ever did need to know my number.

    I like the Co Op online banking - sort code and account number needed to access it but that's on my debit card so always close to hand.


    Also handy that I can pay in cheques and cash at the post office on the rare occasion that comes up as the nearest branch is miles away from here.

    I love Bank of Scotland for my online banking (Halifax) very easy to use and keep track of things.
