I know this might seem like a daft question to some
, but what would be the best way of removing limescale and dried on soap from a glass shower screen?
Thanks in advance...

Lidl's W5 bathroom cleaner is very good with limescale... Splash it about a bit to rid yourself of any build up, then just use it as and when routine cleaning.
For maintaining the limescale free surface, I sometimes squirt it a couple of times on the shower screen after a shower, and squegee it off again... Seems to give a clear, streak free finish no problem.0 -
Also, bear in mind that limescale and dried on soap are quite different chemically.
For limescale, acidic stuff will break it down and shift it. For oily, fatty soap deposit, caustic stuff will break it down and shift it.0 -
I've always used vinegar on any limescale & water marks I get.
If you wipe your shower screen down after every use with one of those squeegy things or use a wash leather, then you should never really be troubled again with either limescale or water marks. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Bath Power by OzKleen works wonders and requires no effort.
Squirt on, leave, rinse off. Job done.0 -
I bought myself a small garden sprayer, and mixed my own vinegar/soap mix.
Just spray it around the shower, then wash off 10/15 mins later for a spotless shower enclosure0 -
Thanks for the advice! I tried Shine with a water/vinegar mix and it seemed to do the trick...0
