Infurn.com - warning.

This is an online furniture company. I ordered something on 30 January. They keep it pretty quiet that you have to wait up to 18 weeks for delivery and they won't let you cancel the order in the meantime. They've told me to refuse delivery when it arrives, but I'll incur charges for returning the goods.

Taking it up with credit card company. Not sure how it'll go.

Infurn's customer service has been a bit of a nightmare. All seems a bit of a scam to me and a quick Google search indicates a lot of people have had similar problems.

Basically, AVOID.

Krisdorey, yeah, that'll teach me to read everything before placing an order. Lesson most definitely learned!

Still, felt this worth flagging as seems I'm not the only person to have had problems with the company [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]

I paid £320 for a chair 12 months ago, (April 2013!)- there have been 3 delays and I finally requested 3 callbacks - no response, I emailed 3 times and no reply, There is still no sign of it. I have now got the 'UK European Consumer Centre' looking into it, I was promised a refund on April 6th and - no surprise, nothing has come. they are now playing the same game of delaying and promising a refund on 12 May, 13 months after they have taken my money, probably another tactic to mimic intent to remedy the issue. I question how this company is permitted to operate in Europe.
