Hi,
Would anyone mind pointing me in the right direction? I've had a look at a few calculators and apparently my circumstances fall outside of the norm. I'm struggling to work out exactly what we should be claiming. If anyone can provide some help it would be greatly appreciated.
We're a married couple with a 1 year old child in full time childcare, living in rented accommodation. No other special circumstances other than those mentioned below.
Me:
FT employed, earning £27,000 PA gross.
Partner:
Full-time student nearing end of her degree, will start PGCE in Sep 2014.
I also have a 3 year old daughter from a previous relationship, who I have for 2-3 nights a week. I pay CSA.
Thank you in advance.

Benefit calculators will not help much because your partner is a full time student and should be receiving some financial help.
Some of her income is counted for some benefits and some disregarded - sorry, it's complicated.
The best thing I can advise is for your partner to ask at the welfare department of her university to make sure that she is receiving all the financial help she should be.
Other than Child Benefit I personally would not expect you to be eligible for any benefits. The possible exception is tax credits.
There are some tax credits 'experts' on this forum and they may be able to help.
However, it would be helpful to know exactly what grants/loans etc your partner is already receiving.0
