Only stayed with EE for just under 6 months. Cheaper to move to new deal (MSE recent big switch) than stay with EE. Did ask EE why I had no monthly bills a few months back, response was: issued every 6 months. 7 Months now and still no bill. I don't even have a final bill. No impressed with EE.
After 6 months EE will tell you they only have to produce you 1 bill per year.
Then you get ignored.0 -
Why am I not surprised that when I received a phone call from Extra Energy on Monday telling me that my bill would be produced on the following day, I didn't believe it.
Here we are on Thursday and the promised bill has still not materialised.
Oh well an additional two days that my money stays in my bank account.:j0 -
Mum in law had her meter read on the 8 April 2015 and still awaiting a bill and her credit returned for the £12.00 Gov. rebate scheme.
She is now £600 debit and the money is happy to stay in her hands until such time EE decide to claim it.0 -
Left EE, after chasing them for weeks, numerous phone calls, raising a formal complaint to get my final bill and my money refunded to me. This was the response 10 days ago:
"Upon further investigating the issue with producing your final bill is due to the dispute of your opening gas reading. The requested read is yet to be agreed by your previous supplier. Once this has been agree via the data flow system this industry uses we will be able to produce a manual bill and issue it out within matter of hours, Unfortunatly all we can do at this moment is wait, and I will keep checking daily. "
The requested read was agreed promptly with previous supplier, sent to them with in couple of days. I used the readings to calculate my bill. They owe me £260. Sent them
the calculations and asked to produce the bill manually WITHIN HOURS. This was their response:
"I have had the gas reads on your account amended and have now requested the bill be issued, However we are having a companywide issue, whereby we are unable to issue any bills at this current time. "
I've had enough of them, clearly they are not capable of producing any bills ever. Blog response, twitter, Billing have all been useless and never responded.
Next step for me is to take them to small claims court and get my money back. Watch this space!0 -

Are you the only person to receive an actual letter from EE, never seen that before. Can you not start with the ombudsman before the small claims court?

No I'm not bothering with ombudsman, not prepared to wait another god knows how many weeks. My claim is clear cut, I am doing it online and it costs me £25. Even if I don't get the court cost back, I'm not bothered. They have to respond, settle or dispute (by producing the ... bill) within 14 days. This is quicker route to get response from them0 -
well done Tara, that'll show them. Keep us posted and good luckHolding back the years...0

Here's an idea.
Why don't I send what I owe Extra Energy to Tara and EE won't have to bother with producing a bill for me.
Everyone's a winner that way as Tara will get most of her money, I will have paid for my energy and EE is saved from producing a bill for me thereby allowing them more time to get on with sorting out their billing issues.:laugh:0 -

LOL :j:j I'm sure they will be happy with that! :T0 -
Extra energy offer pass through contracts and introductory offers, rarely do they send bills and reaching a customer service rep is almost impossible.0
