My car has a VIC marker on it as it was written off. The car has been repaired and now needs to be taxed so I was wondering if I could do this before I have a VIC check done? I have read that you could do it at the post office but I am not sure if this is still the case?

Yes you can get it done at the PO just take the V5, MOT and insurance with you.
Only the DVLA refuse to deal with your tax while you have a VIC marker.0 -
