How do I go about finding the grave of person who recently passed away with only the name of person and town?

When you say town, is that the town they died in or the town they were from or...? If people have moved around they dont necessarily get buried in the town that they died in. Even if they didnt then they can still be returned to a family place - my grandmother lived in the UK for 60 years but her ashes were returned to Ireland for scattering even though all her children, grandchildren, siblings etc all live here.

Assuming you know the town they were burried in then a bit of phoning around the graveyards should find out. Checking the local paper for announcements is a good idea too.
