Amazon Prime refund - now with video streaming

Not sure where to post this sorry.

I have paid for Amazon Prime, which I believe I will be refunded at the end if I do not make purchases using it. As their video streaming service is now included within Amazon Prime, does anyone know if this means that if I watch a video I won't be due a refund at the end?

Note: Paid members who haven't used their Prime benefits, including the Kindle Owners' Lending Library, One Day Delivery and Prime Instant Video, will be eligible for a full refund.

So if you watch a video you won't be able to get a refund. They are not stupid, or everyone would be signing up for the free video streaming.

Thanks, I thought that but wasn't sure as to whether I was on a trial or not like the 30 day trial.

That is only if you cancel a paid for prime subscription and not if you cancel the trial.
What would be the point in having a free trial if you were not able to use any of the benefits offered?

Not sure what point everyone is making here, but in this case this is NOT a free trial, so any usage would result in no refund.

You are probably correct but why would anyone sign up for Amazon prime and not make use of it at least once during the 1 year it is running (or 13 months if they took advantage of the free trial period)?

I might well be wrong, but I was assuming that the OP was wanting to cancel during their trial.
