Demand for unpaid parking charge - Debt Recovery Plus Ltd

Dear All,
I am a newbie and have read the forums.
My case is unique and would be extremely grateful for you learned help
I had a car accident in november. was using a courtesy car. parked it in a well known supermarket for 12mins to purchase some urgent items outside a parking slot. The carpark was full and no spaces. I parked it next to a car. was not blocking or badly parked. however when returned received obstructive parking PCN for £70.
I tried to discuss the matter with the traffic warden however he became aggressive and told me to get lost. his burly friends also came along and tried to intimidate me to go away.
I was very unhappy and badly treated and thought i would write a complaint when I got home.
Days passed and I thought about lodging an appeal, but then thought 'its not my car and sod it, they were really out of order to me, so why should I bother'.
The hire company sent me a letter for informing me of a PCN demanding £40 for the favour.
I ignored that too. Eventually spoke to them and said I didnt receive it.
I now received letter from DR+ demanding £140.
I do not want to pay them anything, however, I do not need this hassle of bad credit and court.
Please advise.

if it was private parking and a private parking company was involved , read this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822 , especially post #4
bear in mind that the RK should name you as driver so you get the pcn and DR+ letters
although you think your case is unique, it isnt , we see loads of similar cases on here every week
who is the PPC ?0 -
I have already read this0
-
it was smart parking in a local business park which isnt owned by a store itself. its a retail park0
-
in that case as it tells you all you need to know, what else is there that you think is missing from post #4 ?0

Then you will know that there is nothing unique about your situation - All PPC tix are more or les the same and can be dealt with by a careful choice of a range of options - all outlined in the Newbies thread.0 -
what are the steps to follow then.0
-
so do i ignore, or appeal0
-
all outlined in post #4 of the newbies thread here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822
your case is not unique , we get dozens of people posting the same issues in here every week , be it in hire cars or privately owned cars0 -
