Which card details are needed for someone to transfer money to my bank account and is it safe? It's £40 for an item sold on eBay. Thanks x

Very safe, the money is yours with no fear of chargebacks, so accept it with pleasure. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -

if your buyer is in the Uk then all they need is your sort code and account number. Bank transfers are wonderful, no paypal fees and no charge backs.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
