    @Keith - excellent - we're on the right lines here.

    I have about 40mm depth 'inside' the mirror so I'm thinking that link will probably be too big :(

    Yes - heater cable readily accessible and is 230v...

    It the bottom of that link there was also this... here I'm now thinking this may be the way to go??

    That's the same thing but without the case on. Plus you have to make it yourself. I had kind of assumed you wouldn't be up for building your own circuit.

    ETA - Looking closer it's not the exact same board - they've laid it out differently. The connections are also by spade terminals which might be a bit awkward.
