Driving To Amsterdam Info

Hello all, so my OH and i are planning to drive to Amsterdam for a 3 night trip in April. Getting to dover and across the channel will be ok but as this will be our first time driving to Amsterdam (and europe for that matter, although we have driven in the USA) I'm just after some info/advice from others that have taken…

Amsterdam is very walker friendly so you don't need the car in the city centre. There is a hop on hop off canal boat service as well as trams. Masses for a long weekend.....
