Lots of things you can do to claw back money (move bank & reclaim bank charges for one!!) and save. You may have to ditch the internet and I would look at a few cashback site like piggypoints for better gas/electric deals. The old style board is great for food and cleaning ideas, just cos its cheap doesn't mean it wont work. Ebay/Amazon/car boot anything that isn't nailed dow (except for OH and kids of course!!!).Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0

It makes such a difference just to have someone to talk to doesn't it :grouphug: Do remember hun everything is sortable and the CCCS are experts and help people everyday.

Hiya......as far as I can tell, your comparable monthly income is £1336, and outgoings are £780, so on paper you should have £556 left. I presume that this is not the case, so have you missed anything off your SOA? If not, a spending diary really helps to see where the money goes. Also careful budgeting to help with weekly income for monthly bills. Remember that here on DFW, you can ask anything , and will get a friendly helpful answer. You have coped amazingly well so far, and taken a huge step posting on here. Hold your head up high, and you will get this sorted!0

Oh, 1 more suggestion.......some colleges that deliver childcare training ie NNEB, NVQ etc, need work placements for their students, and will often give families with young children a free nanny for a few hours a week. Failing that, your local HomeStart/ surestart might be able to offer you extra support, just to give you a break for a few hours.0

I get your point re the internet, I use it a lot as well. However you said you are with British Gas for your fuel. Check with a comparison website like uswitch to make sure you are getting the best deal. I know at times all these things might seem like a hassle but as the (annoying) Tesco logo says "Every little helps"Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0
