You do have to provide proof of a receipt.....one receipt for one win (luckily I had been shopping this morning and had three) so what I would suggest is that if you have already won on try number 4 and were planning on using the rest of your six tries....go and purchase something else first) hope that made sense x

sorry to bump this thread but I just have a question relating to proof of purchase.


I only heard about this comp yesterday on the radio so only played yesterday, I have two VISA Debit card receipts from yesterday so they'd have been fine, but if I want to try again today (or any other day) do I have to have a receipt relating to today or the particular day on which I play?? In other words, would I have to use my card every single day I entered, or could I say use a receipt from yesterday for today's play?

Actually I think I've just answered my own question. Scoured the T&Cs and found this:


‘Proof of Purchase’: The Promoter will only accept proof of purchase for Visa transactions made from the start date of the Promotional Period up to (and including) the date of entry as valid. Copies of receipts (paper and online) or the relevant section of a bank statement are acceptable as Proof of Purchase.

I asked that same question on their Twitter feed and the reply I got was

every time you pay with Visa you can enter, up to 10x per day. Payments to be made during the promo period 17.03-11.05.

I read it to mean as long as you have 10 purchases during the promo period, then you can enter 10 times per day.

Many thanks to MaineBlue as I've been lucky enough to win the weekly draw for a trip to Brazil to see England v Uruguay with this comp. Can't quite believe it as I was lucky enough to win the same comp four years ago to see England play America in South Africa.

I have won wonder if i can send off a receipt that i spent on the same day but after win (20 mins) ? i have transaction from before but would have needed bank statement have sent off anyways as rules state if im reading correctly from start of promotional period upto and including day of entry
If not i have made plenty of purchases b4 the winning date but within wining period
but would have ment getting bank statments blahhhhh gahhhhh

but i have sent now so ill post what happens
