I won my Dla appeal today 14 months from the original decision so getting a nice back payment. While i was waiting to go in front of the panel a lady came out with a big smile on her face and told me that she had some good news for your she told they had looked at all of my information already and my appeal was successful and that the panel just wanted to have a quick word with me! I could not belive it, i strayed crying uncontrollably 14 months of constant stress was relived in that one moment. The panel apologized of the behalf of the decision maker and told me my case should never have even come to tribunal as it was clear that i met the critera based on my medial evidence, They told me to enjoy my back payment and told somebody to get me some tissues. i can't believe it i have a new lease of life. i just wish my esa appeal had gone the same way as that failed
I have pretty been stuck in my house for the last 14 months after they took away my mobility car, and i want to get another one, but i have been told that when you apply for ESA again it can trigger then to look at your DLA again aswell, can anybody confirm if this is true as i need to make a new claim for ESA but im worried that will mean my DLA gets looked at again and don't want to go through all of this again
