Broken Sat Nav Screen

I've just bought a tom tom START 25 (Europe) and am pleased with its performance but, unfortunately, it has fallen of the windscreen and has badly cracked the screen. I have sent it back to Tom Tom as its only just 2 months old. They tested the suction and said it's not faulty so they won't repair it as part of warranty. They can repair it for 85 euros or offer me a 20% discount on a brand new one, neither of these options are appealing to me as I've already spent enough buying the device to begin with!
Can anyone suggest a suitable (inexpensive) remedy?
