Injury claim extras

Hello I am new to the forum. I am not sure which catagary i should post in, so hope this is ok?
I am looking for some advice from the legal team. or any body who might be able to help. I had an accident at work just over 3 years ago and have an injury lawyer on the case. I had to admit at being 10% at fault for the case to continue, there fore I have to pay 10% of any costs. The lawyer has been very keen to get me a physcotherapist for my depression, 6 sessions plus a phsychiatrists evauation. Now they want me to see a pain specialist, all private of course and a foot technician. I dont know if they are being very caring or feathering there own nest, as they will be on a percentage as well. These specialists are very expensive for me and the people i am claiming from.
Am i being ungratefull or do you think this is normal procedure.
I am very confused at the moment, any help:(

It all sounds very pushy & suspicious to me. You don't say what your injury was, but obviously something that has a physical impact.
Urging people to see a psychotherapist & a psychiatrist unless you have severe mental health issues just seems ridiculous & a waste of money if not really needed.
I don't see this company as being caring, no doubt they get some sort of commission from referrals as well as getting 10% from you of any costs awarded.
They are only looking out for themselves, not you. They are the very worst sort of ambulance chasers by the sound of it, just out to feather their own nest. Don't feel you have to go along with whatever they suggest, if you don't think it's necessary, just tell them no.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -

Thanks Cattie. I appreciate your input. by the way I snapped my achilles tendon 3 years ago and have had 2 operations to put it right, I have been suffering from depression, but not mental health issues. I think you are right they are taking advantage of me. I think i will see my GP and discuss it with him, in meantime I will suspend any more any more treatment from there referals.
Thanks again Cattie.;)0
