I am a second going on third year, doing a sports science degree (heading fingers crossed for a 1st - getting results this week!!) and am looking to go into osteopathy, however it looks as though i will have to do a another whole degree in osteopathy - and in effect my sports science degree will be useless
its a bit of a long shot but does anyone know if i could avoid another 4 years in education (which would probably be in london) as i cant afford it!! Dont really know what to do, partly wishing i just did osteopathy straight off, instead of sports science.
It seems nowerdays sports science is a very common degree (although i dont think that high a percentage get 1sts which is what i am aiming for)

I'm afraid that I've even more bad news for you as most institutions offering osteopathy courses are private and ineligible for government student funding. I can't really see any way round this one; could physiotherapy be a possible alternative for you?
