I'm sure this will have been posted by someone before but we have just renewed our BT contract.
We have BT unlimited phone, BT unlimited BB and BT Vision TV - this was costing us £62 a month.
Talking to BT today they have changed the way you buy BT vision and also we have purchased our line rental for the whole year.
The saving on the line rental is about £50 a year and cutting out the things off the BT Vision we never watch such as kids programmes we now have the exact same package as before but @ £31 a month. Plus a new Mk4 BT Modem free and a BT YouView box discounted to £35; they're £143 to buy off Amazon contract free. My wife can also use BT Wifi and make calls from her iPhone via an app which will then be charged as coming from our land line.
Also of course free BT Sport on which I watch the WRC and will watch the coming Moto GP season. That's very handy as I wouldn't directly pay for a sports channel myself because they are full of ball games and I frankly detest all ball games.
Myself, I think that is a really decent saving and a good package at a very reasonable monthly cost.

I am not offering advice, at most I describe what I've experienced. My advice is always the same; Talk to a professional face to face.
Debt - None of any type: Bank or any other accounts? - None: Anything in my name? No. Am I being buried in my wife's name... probably

The Smart Talk app is extremely useful especially if you are abroad. It has saved us a fortune when ringing airline call centres etc.0 -
The Smart Talk App in combination with unlimited phone service is brilliant when you only have a PAYG mobile - if I want to make a personal call whilst at work I can do so on WiFi at no cost to me (to a landline like the dentist, optician, insurance company etc) without having to sneakily use the office phone. I did notice BT recently changed it from unlimited use to 60 minutes per month, but that is certainly enough for my needs.0

Its still unlimited for inclusive 01/02/03 0845/0870 calls up to 60 minutes per call.
Also if you downloaded and registered with the BT SmartTalk App before 31st January 2014, you're entitled to the BT SmartTalk deal.
This deal gives each BT SmartTalk customer the first 60 minutes of chargeable calls* made on BT SmartTalk each billing month during 2014 free.0
