It is now critical that a customer knows his annual consumption in kWh before they can calculate which is the cheapest tariff. Judged by many posts on MSE, some people don't what a kWh is, let alone how many they use a year.
You still need to calculate:
A. Is a low Daily Standard Charge(DSC) and a higher kWh rate, cheaper than a higher DSC with a lower kWh rate for the customer's specific consumption?
B. What are the discounts available?
C. Is it cheaper to get gas and electricity from two different suppliers?
D. By what method do you want to pay0
