Wipe 2014.05 from Privacyroot

After I upgraded to the latest 2014.05 (free) version, under XP, I seem to be having a strange internet access problem. After I have run wipe I lose access to certain web-sites/pages (eg ebay sign in) but not access generally. (I get the message web site/page not found).
If I close down and re-start I'm back ok.
I can't be sure it's Wipe, but I've run a few tests and it seems to be the culprit. It happens under both IE and Opera browsers.
Anybody shed any light on this?
