Managed to get out for a walk this morning only a couple of miles but it was bracing in the wind :D, I really enjoyed it

Pottered in the garden , cut the grass , mulched the roses, raked a bit more moss

My seeds are doing well although the tomatoes haven't germinated yet.

Bread rolls made and making a lasagne for dinner , I've added some fresh basil into it as it needs using up .

I fancy some cake too , that migh.t be my next job :D 🍰

    Evening all,

a late one from me today as ive been loading loads and loads of windows updates. Hubby formatted my hard drive last night for me and reloaded Windows. He left the updates to me.:) Anyway, my pc is as good as new now. Just have to load me bookmarks and I'm good to go.

Hilstep I hope you got on well at the hospital.

Nothing else to add really, except ive had another go at removing the hair dye out of my hair. Its getting there slowly.

    Have a good evening all.

    Hi everyone,

Strange feelings today - it's my birthday, the first one ever without a card from my parents. I did get a card from my favourite aunt who doesn't normally send one, so I think she did it to make up for mum not being able to.

I got a lovely bunch of flowers from DS, GF and cat. DH and I went to Olney, which we haven't visited for years. It was a bit disappointing TBH, lots of charity shops and the antique places were all closed on Mondays. We're going out to eat at Loch Fyne tonight because I feel like fish.

LW hope you're feeling a bit better.

It's a funny feeling isn't it, being an adult orphan, I have 3 brothers and we all commented on that on our birthdays after our mum died in 2005 (dad died in 1991). Happy birthday & hope you have a lovely meal tonight - we love Loch Fyne.
