I find Vetkem Acclaim works better than Indorex.

  • Pest control came this morning so hopefully the little mofos will be gassed out!

We had masking tape all around the skirting and pulled it up last night, shudder to think how many would be in the carpets if we didnt. The carpet is loose at the edges [eg door trims] and pretty much all corners of the rooms so they can easily jump up. Jesus I just hope this gas / pesiticide kills em!

We can get another spray for free in 10 days, and failing that, the landlord has agreed [after arguing with em] to rip up the carpets. Happy friday
  • Pleased you are getting the house fumigated. Was it anything I said?
  • lol, no :)

A week later after the pest control, the carpet appears to be clear *from what I can see when I take the time to scan*. but we have the occasional flea on the lino in the kitchen area (or kitchen is part of our reception room). This is literally 1 or 2, but I still want to see 0 fleas.

This could be the hatching pupae, and to be fair 75% of these fleas i've found on the lino have been dancing [hopefully having a pesticide induced seizure]. I've seen none today when i've looked but you have to be lucky to see one.

We can call up again within 10 days [monday] so really not sure if we should just get them to do it again for free just to be ultra-safe :)
  • The other thing I did when I had my little 'visitors' was to empty the vacuum cleaner into a plastic bag, and immediately throw it out into the outside bin and then spray the cylinder with the indorex
