All I can say to this, Brilliant news! Universal Jobmatch is created for sanctions as people believe its mandatory to give they Job Centre advisors access so they advisers can sanction a claimant Job Seekers for any stupid reason.:D
Hope this is true.

I hope it is true too. I have not used UJM for a good long while - so long that my password no longer works. Must admit I don't used Monster either - never have, never will.0

They will replace it with some other rubbish.0

All that's really happening is that Monster.com are losing the contract, which will be contracted out to someone else. They are scrapping it in a bid to end the fraud and fake jobs, the pressure of sanctions and DWP targets will remain.
Over the moon my next sign-on day will be my last. :j0 -
well done about your new job.0

That was my thought too. The oppressive sanctions regime will just be implemented by something else.
Congrats on the new job

I'm amused by this part:Responding to the leak the department said: "Universal Jobmatch revolutionises the way jobseekers find work...
That's one way to put it.

I might have to have a look at this UJM - just to see what its like. I dont suppose they advertise medical writing jobs do they?

They may do. Whether the job really exists or not is another matter of course. *cue my best conspiracy theorist expression*
Philosophical question. If I decide not to use UJM, does it still exist?

The state of the UJM has nothingo to do with sanctions.
The tender with Monster is up in 2 years it is saying someone else will run it or its going for good.
A REALLY good waste of £££ if you ask me.
