ERUDIO student loans help

Can I also just say that I find it a bit annoying that the article describes us as Erudio "customers". This implies that we ever had a choice in engaging with them. Erudio "prisoners" or "victims" would be a more accurate description.0

In the double speak of trading loans and debts, that is unfortunately the term that they pay to make us. The notion of selling loans and debt to me is preposterous and one of the reasons much of the world and its citizens feel like topping themselves. If a company cant make the money it expects, loses interest or has just made bad investment choices, writing off such things should be the only choice in a just world. Vultures pick at the bones, and unfortunately we have some meat still left on ours...well, for a few more years anyway until they get cancelled and our USA owned Cargill Inc food giant poisoner bully loses a grand or so on most of us. Its just a shame they have prematurely aged us for 10 or so years and made many of us miserable whilst it was trying to cash in on us getting an education in the UK 15/20 years ago. Life is short but that doesnt mean anything to such a faceless multinational company intent on maximising its own wealth at the expense of real peoples lives! All of those in our own country who have played any part in allowing such a thing to happen over the years should be made to pay for such craziness and misery.0 -
I was told via my FOS decision a few months ago that Erudio would be reporting our student loans to CRAs by the end of this year, after being led to believe since March of last year that CRA reporting was imminent. Now they're saying it'll be delayed again (indefinitely) because of the remediation issue. I'm not affected by remediation, I'm sure most accounts aren't, but yet again we're being left with the looming threat over our credit records. How could any reasonable person think that's fair on the borrower? And with round 3 of annual deferment coming up next year, how much longer can Erudio justify the reporting? It's clearly not needed to process a deferment, or meet "responsible lending" requirements, if they can grant a deferment without it.
It's the threat of CRA reporting that remains the crux of the issue, with borrowers still unsure of how their lives will be affected almost 2 years since the threats were first made by Erudio. Still stating after that amount of time that they can't give a time-frame of when the reporting's likely to happen is ridiculous, and blatantly NOT treating customers fairly.
Although I can't say I'm surprised at them coming up with another reason not to do it!0 -
We were sold these loans on the promise that taking one would have no impact on our ability to get credit elsewhere (provided we stuck to the terms), years later to renege on this means that we have all been collectively mis sold.
It also seems odd that Erudio cannot reply to letters from its hapless customers (its ignored all mine) but is happy to communicate and try to explain away its shortcomings through MSE admin??"Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Can you find that anywhere in writing? I have been looking but been fruitless thus far...i was told by a lady at BIS this is the case but havent been able to turn it up anywhere. If we can find that, i think it would change something (but i dont know what yet).0 -
Does anyone know if you can make Eurido an offer to settle my loan for a sum much less than what I offer - say 50%?
My Dad is willing to pay me some money to pay if off but am not sure they will short settle?0 -

If this was France Wilmington Trust's London HQ would be on fire and politicians would be on our side trying to protect us from the greedy Americans working out of taxhavens who are trying to cheat us into paying."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

So sick of being f*cked over by these people. I have shown I don't earn enough and as well as giving them my P45 because I'm traveling and still they play dumb. Also it takes the p*ss that the f*ckers who are meant to look out for us are in on it.
If they are going to report the loans on the CRA then I might as well get it statute barred. I'm not getting a mortgage anytime soon and I'll soon be over 40 so chances of my being accepted are slim. I'm also going to be moving soon when i get back so might "forgot" to update my address.
Also had 2 missed calls (+44 330 003 7188) from them today on my mobile even though I have never given them my number. Seems they're trying again after ringing me once last year.0
